The 32nd annual Kiwanis Chili Cook Off originally scheduled for Saturday October 8th  at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn has been rescheduled. The event is now scheduled for January 21, 2017 at the Shelter Cove Community Park.

Ticket Sales - $15 in advance, $20 at the door

The format remains pretty much the same as in previous years - BUT the times have changed slightly. Hours of the event will now be 11:30 am to 3:30 pm

  • There is no registration fee, we just ask that you submit a registration form so that we can plan for your space
  • The Kiwanis Club will provide 6 free coupons for beer, wine  and soft drinks  to each entrant for use by their staff.
  • The popularity of this event is straining our ability to provide tents for all entrants. Please let us know on your registration if you can bring your own tent. We will provide tents for anyone who needs one.

Entrants will need to provide their own heat source as none will be provided. Care must be taken to ensure food stays hot. Also, entrants will not provide any items for sale or distribution to the public.

Entrants should also be aware that the County and State Health departments require each booth to have a hand washing station, and a fire extinguisher if open flame is used to heat food..


  • Set up after 9 am Saturday, January 21
  • 11:30 am : Chili submitted for Judging
  • 11:30 am :  gates open to general public
